The 3M privacy filter is based on a special microlouver technology notably used in chip manufacture. Available in all popular formats and easy to tailor to other sizes yourself. Fitting the privacy filter takes only a few minutes and is possible on almost all models. The filter is held in placed with small retaining tabs and can be removed at any time. Even with the privacy filter fitted, the notebook can be closed as usual. In addition, the filter protects the display from damage.
