Secvest 2-way radio smoke detector
The optical radio smoke detector (FU8340) is a Secvest sensor. It reacts to smoke particles and excessive maximum temperatures. These indicators are reliably detected and signalled to the radio alarm centre. The optical radio smoke detector is fitted to the ceiling in the centre of the room. Distance from side wall: At least 15 cm; Distance from each corner: At least 50 cm; The detection range is up to 40 m². It is advisable to have a smoke detector for each corridor, stairway, living room and bedroom. The optical smoke detector detects smoke particles that penetrate into its measuring chamber and room temperatures of above 65 °C. Integrated in the alarm system, the radio smoke detector always occupies one zone, which is also monitored if a system has been deactivated. As well as the alarm via the central office (which may be connected to an emergency call control centre via AWAG or AWUG), the integrated piezo alarm indicator of the sensor provides additional alarming with at least 85 dB. With the relevant batteries (9 V alkali block), the radio smoke detector has a service life of approximately 12 months. The service life varies depending on how frequently the operation of the sensor is tested. One test per week is recommended. The sensor indicates a weak battery by beeping at regular intervals.
